
Hitachi Display will also join the 3D bandwagon by introducing a 3D LCD that won’t need glasses. It’s just a proposal but their version will feature IPS technology and parallax barrier. A 3.1″ model with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, brightness of 400cd/m2, and an FWVGA 480×854 resolution is almost done.
