A pair of USB powered footwear was just announced by Columbia Sportswear. The Omni-Heat boots will soon hit the mainstream market. Actually, men’s and women’s versions of the boots will be available with a battery pack.
It is electrically heated by a USB connection. It will only take you about 4 hours to fully charge both boots. Still no word on pricing.
