Rumor has it that Nikon is working on a new projector camera. It’s actually the second because their first offering, the Coolpix S1000pj, isn’t really selling. Their second attempt is expected to work as pico projector for computers according to Engadget.
Nikon Rumors says that we might see this new device on August, right before the summer is over.

I have a feeling this projector won’t sell that well either, once people realise that it just isn’t that bright. Nikon should have waited until they could make it bright enough for what people want to use it for. Until then, people could easily use a pocket or palm projector [Adapt 305/Adapt 450Pro] and show their pictures via the [micro] SD card slot.
