It’s not called the iPhone HD. It’s the iPhone 4. The Apple iPhone we’ve been seeing lately is the real deal. The iPhone casings that surfaced fit the new iPhone 4.
Honestly, I wasn’t too convinced that I should replace my old iPhone 3G but the HD video recording had me sold.
Let’s take a look at some of the specs:
- stainless steel band
- 3.5-inch display
- front-facing camera
- 9.3mm thick (24% thinner than the current iPhone 3GS)
- WiFi, GSM, UMTS, GPS, and Bluetooth
- A4 processor
- high contrast Retina display at 960 x 640 pixels
- quad-band HSDPA/HSUPA
- 3-axis Gyroscope (yaw, pitch, and roll)
- 5 megapixel camera
- 5x digital zoom
- tap to focus
- backside illuminated sensor
- LED flash
- 720p 30fps HD Video recording
- longer battery life
- dual microphone
- compass and accelerometer
- iMovie (record, edit, and share)
- iBooks
- iOS 4
