I’ve got friends who wish for longer battery hours from their Android phones and I think I can tell them what to do now. Android engineer Jeff Sharkey said that a red screen can use 42% less battery than with full color. The number is pretty impressive but who’d want to use a red screen?

However, you simply can’t turn your screen red because you need to be familiar with Google code. See, it’s not that easy. Just wait for a software update from Microsoft instead to have that battery issue fixed.
