Acer is said to be delaying the release of their Android tablet because they’re waiting for the next version of the mobile OS from Google.
The following OS is expected to be more capable of handling higher resolutions and work with only a 1GHz processor. The Android tablet from Acer is just one because the company is launching Windows 7 and Linux versions this year.
