
This is really good news for Google as Android Market‘s share has gone up by 886% according to a report by Canalys. That was only for the 2nd quarter of this year compared to last year’s 2Q figure. Because of this, Android now has 24 percent of the smartphone market.
Apple surprisingly only has 21.7 percent while RIM has 32 percent. Smartphone market worldwile has grown by 64% and Apple 61% on the second quarter.
