After only four months, I think Apple has the right to say that the iPad is a success. What with the millions of units sold all over the world and other companies trying to rival the Apple tablet. Apple has always been known to be good at UIs so it’s not surprising that a touchscreen iMac is in the works. That is, according to a recent Apple patent discovered at the World Intellectual Property Organization.
Nothing is sure yet and this is still a patent but a Mac with touchscreen goodness like the iPhone and the iPad is certainly an exciting news. Apple may not be the first since Microsoft and HP have introduce theirs already but Apple can take over.
As described, the patent shows method of transitioning from high res to a low UI. It seems like a great idea but it is still a patent. In a few months time, maybe we’ll see leaks from FCC or the actual spy shots. Who knows?
