Enough of the rumors now, Nikon is making the D3100 DSLR finally known. This D90 replacement features the following:
- 14.2-megapixel CMOS sensor
- 100 to 3200 ISO range
- Quiet Shutter Release mode
- full 1080P video recording at 24 fps
- H.264 AVCHD file support
- 720P mode recording at 24/30 fps
- Face Detection technology
Nikon D3100 kit will be available with an AF-S NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens for $700. New camera will be out next September.
