We’ve all seen how autocomplete works in Google search but now Google has rolled out the autocomplete technology to work on anywhere you need to type in the web through a service they dubbed as GoogleScribe.
Using Google’s implementation of their impressive auto-complete egine, GoogleScribe automatically completes sentences or phrases as you type. For example, in the screenshot posted above, as we finished typing “predict the” it automatically offers a pop-down list menu of suggested words likely to come next which in this case the word “future.” To use the suggested item, hitting Enter would immediately insert the top-most word and pressing the corresponding number key would insert the suggestions below.
Aside from the demo on the GoogleScribe page, this service could also be used when you write emails, comments and nearly anywhere with a text box via a bookmarklet.
Scribe needs getting used to for the first few minutes but as you use it longer, it makes typing on the web snappier and probably the thought process involved in writing more efficient. What do you guys think?

inneresting. but does the bookmarklet work automatically when you load a site or does it need clicking first before it works?
