Next to the iPad, I’m thinking of getting a Samsung Galaxy Tab when it finally starts shipping. Thing is, the Android tablet is believed to be more expensive than the iPad. That’s not good if Samsung wants to beat Apple in the tablet arena.
Rumor has it that the 16GB model will be $896 or EUR699. A listing at Expansys shows a GBP680 or $1,048 pricing. If true, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 16GB is almost similar to the 32GB iPad 3G or the 64GB iPad 3G against the Expansys’ Galaxy Tab listing.
I’m hoping this isn’t true. The price is just too high.
