Sony just announced their updated e-Reader lineup. The Pocket, Touch, and Daily Reader editions have been updated with optical touchscreen displays, slimmer hardware, and faster E-Ink Pearl page turns.
The Daily Edition now comes equipped with WiFi connectivity.
Here’s a rundown on the new Sony Readers:
Sony PRS-950 Reader Daily Edition. New touchscreen, faster page turns, WiFi, browser, $299. November release.
Sony PRS-650 Reader Touch Edition. Touchscreen display, weighs only .4 pounds, faster and more responsive, 2GB storage, MemoryStick and SD card slots, $229. Available in red and black.
Sony PRS-350 Reader Pocket Edition. Weighs .4 pounds, 5-inch display, E-Ink pearl technology, comes with a stylus, SD card slot, 2GB storage capacity, $179. Available in silver and pink.
