iHome is updating their AirPlay speaker dock series in the form of the iW1. Specs of the portable speaker system include an inductive charging base, lithium-ion battery , capacitive touch controls, and Bongiovi Accoustics audio.
There’s also a USB port, local audio playback, audio streaming from iTunes, and support for iOS configuration apps for iHome. No word on pricing and availability as expected.
