The Kik Messenger is a new app available on different platforms like the Android, iOS, and Blackberry. People easily joined the bandwagon but just recently, RIM removed the app from their App World. Now, BlackBerry users can’t download the program.
We don’t know the real reason behind this but it could be because BlackBerry already has the BBM. The Kik group only has this to say about the matter: “RIM became aware of a number of issues and customer concerns regarding the Kik app and service and, following discussions with Kik, the app was removed from BlackBerry App World. RIM is actively reviewing the issues and potential resolutions, and is also continuing its discussions with Kik.”
It was good while it lasted. Those on the iPhone and Android KIK must utilize the app now before it gets pulled. You’ll never know…
