
We all know that 25 nations got their hands on the iPad 2 last Friday and as expected, there were very long lines. For some countries like Canada, Germany, UK, and Australia, people even camped out two days earlier.
The Apple Online Store also started to accept orders but shipping has been moved to a later date. Instead of the usual 2 to 3 weeks shipping, Apple now lists a 3 to 4 weeks of waiting time. This is because demand has gotten bigger. No official report has been made yet if this is also related to Japan’s recent tragedy. Also, we want to know how much iPad 2 units have been sold on the first day. Apple??
