Google+ Project launched

June 30, 2011

Google has finally launched the new Google+ Project. It’s the search giant’s take on Facebook. It’s another social network effort which I think would fail like the other previous similar services (remember Wave and Buzz?).

Here are some of the features:

  • Circles. Contacts are gathered in groups or circles.
  • Sparks. Will look for articles and videos that Google thinks you will ike
  • Hangouts. Unplanned meet-up comes to the web for the first time.
  • Instant Upload
  • Huddle. Group texting redefined
