Google Earth has finally reached a billion downloads since its release almost six years ago. I could go on and on saying how Google has made our lives easier but a post won’t be enough.
Together with Google Maps and Google Street View, anyone can say that he’s “traveled” the world. When I first discovered the program, I spent a whole day just “traveling” to places I’ve always wanted to visit. Looking at satellite images makes me feel like I’m an astronaut. Surely, Google has made images, information, and knowledge available for us.
Google just reported that they’ve reached that one billion milestone. Good news? I’m not surprised.
