Designers Fabian Kreuszer and Markus Lorenz Schilling could have just brought us the ‘future’ of fridges with their In My Fridge design concept. Imagine a fridge intelligent enough to analyze the quality, quantity, expiration date and even possible recipes for what’s in your fridge by using RFID technology and a 3D feature which gives you a visualisation of what’s inside, without opening the door.

With In My Fridge, soon you’ll be able to be prompted if you should be throwing away those eggs from three years ago or if that tub of vanilla ice cream could interfere with your weight loss goals. And with a fridge smart enough like this, the GUI will beautifully show you what you could fix for breakfast or that you could actually do a complete Potato Galette with Bacon and Caviar recipe just from scanning what’s inside the fridge.
