Designer Ya-Hui Chi has something new for the green enthusiasts. It’s still a concept but I’m sure it will be a hit when it becomes a reality.
Sure, we’ve seen something similar but this Eco-socket pops the plug out when it detects it has not been used for a while. The socket knows when power is not needed anymore so it ejects the plug automatically.
Ya-Hui Chi’s Eco-Socket is an entry at the 2011 Liteon Award.
