The Microsoft Internet Explorer may still be the most widely used Internet browser but it’s certainly not the most favored. Microsoft has resorted to a few gimmicks including giving away gifts to anyone who would download the Internet Explorer 9.
This time though, Internet Explorer is copying Chrome by silently updating the web browser. Without you knowing, your current IE browser will be upgraded to the next version. This will begin in January on all Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP machines. This new effort will roll out in Brazil and Australia first.
This, of course, will only work on if the automatic updating feature is turned on.
