The year is going to end great for Microsoft as the Windows Phone Market Place has just hit 50,000 apps. Back in July, the Windows Phone Marketplace reached 25,000 apps.
All About Windows Phone reported that 8,010 apps were added the past month and 17,276 mobile apps the last three months. These numbers show that the Windows Phone Marketplace is still growing.
It’s nothing compared to the number of Android and iOS apps but it still is good news for Microsoft.
