The Android OS is moving fast on its way to the top. Month by month, it’s evident that the mobile OS, specifically the Gingerbread version, is becoming more popular.
According to a recent review by Google, about 55 percent of Android devices that accessed Android Market were running Gingerbread. The figure is an improvement from the previous month by 10 percent.
Android Froyo followed with a 30 percent share then Honeycomb. The oldest Cupcake trailing behind together with the latest Ice Cream Sandwich.
Ice Cream Sandwich may be last but we’re expecting it will be as popular as Gingerbread once it’s officially and widely available.
