We already know about the changes inside RIM and the management. Future is unclear but RIM is expected to release new models and what’s believed to be the next PlayBook. All these are expected to happen within the next 15 months.
BGR managed to get a copy of the roadmap which says BlackBerry 10-powered devices are coming this fall. BlackBerry 7 phones will still be offered starting with Curve 9230 and Curve 9320.
BlackBerry 10 devices include those in the Bold series: one with touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard and the other one a QWERTY slide phone out early 2013.
PlayBook will still be part of the lineup. The next model reportedly will have NFC, HSPA+ 42Mbps cellular data support and 1.5GHz processor.
Mobile World Congress will open this February. We’re expecting to see a few new RIM products there.
