So Apple revealed the next-generation OS X Mountain Lion yesterday. While Mac geeks are excited for a new operating system, some Apple computers are said to be not compatible with the OS.
According to Cult of Mac, late 2008 Intel Core 2 Duo MacBooks, Mid-2007 Mac minis, late 2006 polycarbonate iMacs, and original early 2008 MacBook Airs cannot run OS X Mountain Lion. They can run Lion but not the upcoming version because Intel GMA 950 and x3100 chipsets are not supported.
And oh, Apple dropped the name ‘Mac’ from the OS X Mountain Lion. This means some Apple computers can’t get the Mountain Lion roaring.
