Apple‘s market cap is now 500 billion US dollars according to FactSet Research. Shares are up by 1.5% and stocks by 35%. Apple joins the exclusive club of EXxon Mobil, Microsoft, Intel, Ge, and Cisco Systems with a half-trillion market cap.
According to CNNMoney, the company’s value is even more than the GDP of other countries like Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Belgium, and Poland.
So to those who’ve got stocks at Apple, be very, very happy. We’re expecting it will still improve in the next few months especially that the iPad 3 is coming this March 7.
