March 9, 2012

Nokia has recently submitted its annual report which shows that it has lost a lot of money last year. Why, the Finnish phone manufacturer saw a €1.4b annual loss. Its net sales only hit €38.6 billion down from the €42.4 billion according to a report.

Moreover, only 339.8 million features phones were sold while in 2010, there were 349.2 million. Another decline in number from the previous year. No thanks to its many rivals in the mobile phone arena. Of the number, only 77.3m smartphones were sold. The number also dropped by 25 percent.

We’re hoping that with the introduction of Nokia Windows Phone handsets, the number would improve this year and next year.
