E-readers are here to stay despite the proliferation of tablets although it’s hard to distinguish which is which now. Barnes & Noble has just introduced a new e-book reader that features a row of LED lights at the top of the screen so you can read in the dark.
I’m surprised nobody has offered something like this before but thanks to Barnes & Noble for this new Nook. No more using your flashlight under the sheets just to read your book (that’s me). It’s simply the Nook Simple Touch upgraded with Glowlight. That’s certainly a nice addition to the e-book reader.
The LED lights drain the Simple Touch’s battery faster but it can still last for almost a month.
Simple Touch with Glowlight costs $139 when it’s released this May.
