
According to a an AP report, Yahoo is cutting off 2,000 jobs as new CEO Scott Thompson is weeding out jobs that doesn’t fit his plans for the struggling Internet company. Announced Wednesday, the cut represent around 14 percent of the 14,100 employees under Yahoo.Yahoo estimates it will save around $375 million annually from the layoffs, which is planned to be conpleted later this year. This marks the sixth mass layoff in the past four years, under three different Yahoo CEOs. via
