VINCI Tab II now available in online retail shops

May 31, 2012

I thought the iPad was the best tablet for kids until my toddler dropped it face down resulting to a cracked screen. Yep, the iPad’s screen cracked and it’s not even two weeks. It was a mistake to leave him with the iPad. I regret that I didn’t get a super tough protective case right away. I just bought an ordinary cover. Who knew that such will happen. Oh well, the iPad is now off limits too him. Perhaps I’d just get a cheaper tablet or this Vinci Tab II made especially for kids.

The tablet for kids is now being offered by SkyMall and Amazon. Other shopping websites like Yoyo, Diapers,, and Walmart will next month carry the Vinci Tab II.

The tablet is packed with the following:

  • 7-inch display screen
  • 800×480 pixel resolution
  • 3-megapixel camera
  • 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor
  • 8GB built-in storage
  • microSD card slot

The $249 Vinci Tab II runs an unidentified Android OS version. It’s already packed with apps, storybooks, and animated music videos for the kiddos. It’s got WiFi but a non-WiFi version is available for $199 only.
