
Adobe wants us to bid adieu to mobile Flash. The company already announced it won’t be supporting mobile Flash in the future and it won’t be available on Android 4.1 either. Certification for Flash will no longer be provided to mobile sites.
By August 15, Flash from Google Play won’t be downloaded. Current users will still get updates but those who will install Flash starting Aug 15 won’t.
Sure, you can download the web browser plugin still but dont’t expect support from Adobe should you have any problems. Looks like Adobe is serious with bring HTML5 to new heights.
