We’ve seen geeky shoes in the past (i.e. Adidas Star Wars, NIKE McFly Sneakers). But then there’s super geeky like this pair of shoes made for charging. Yes, it’s another “green” product that can store energy while you walk or run as the shoe is flexed.
One Kenyan named Anthony Matua came up with this idea complete with thin chips of crystals that create power. Actually, any shoe can work as a charging device because the chip can be inserted in any sole. It’s already been patented and I think we only need to wait for big companies (Hello NIKE, hello Adidas!) to make use of this new invention.
