So Microsoft showed off the Surface tablet last week. The software giant didn’t reveal much but we mentioned it will be available 3 months from now with an unknown price.
This week, we hear of rumors about the tablet PC’s battery life, connectivity, and pricing. The Surface will only have WiFi according to Bloomberg. Pricing could start at $599 for the Windows RT model and $799 for the Pro version according to Digitimes.
As for the battery life, we could expect 7.5 hours of nonstop use based on Computerworld’s estimate of the RT model and only 6 hours for the Surface Pro.
Of course, these are only speculations and nothing official from Microsoft. But if true, what’s going to make us buy a Surface tablet over an iPad which is cheaper and can do more?
