 SAP acquisitions

SAP’s co-Chief Executive Jim Hagemann Snabe was recently quoted saying that the Germany company might make more acquisitions. Nothing is final yet but the CEO believes that doing so will help in the company’s goal to expand some more.

About a third of the business’ growth, they want it to grow by purchasing other smaller companies or start ups. Back in May, you may remember Ariba Internet-commerce site was purchased for $4.3 billion, hoping to rival Oracle.

With the plan of acquisition, SAP could enter new business fields which might secure the future of the company. This way is faster and more often than not, effective in this business. And usually, companies invest in software solutions in more difficult times.
