Was it only a couple of months ago that Verizon Wireless expanded its LTE coverage to 46 markets? Seems like the mobile carrier is on a roll and there’s no stopping them. Why, 34 new markets are getting Verizon’s wireless 4G LTE in the US.

The 34 new areas will be added to the 371 4G LTE markets where Verizon Wireless can be enjoyed. This makes Verizon the largest 4G Long Term Evolution network in the country today capturing 75 percent of the population.

Chief Technical Officer of Verizon Wireless Nicola Palmer, Chief Technical Officer of Verizon Wireless shared:

“Our 4G LTE network is currently in more markets than all other U.S. wireless providers combined, and our team is continuing to expand the network so that more customers across the nation can take advantage of 4G LTE speed and capabilities. We are ahead of schedule with our 4G LTE market roll out and will provide 4G LTE network coverage to more than 400 markets in the near future.”
