BMW will be revealing it’s plug-in hybrid concept, Active Tourer at the Paris Motor show next week. The Active Tourer concept is powered by an electric motor which drives the rear wheels and a 1.5 liter turbo charged 3 cylinder engine to drive the front wheels.
The combination will give the car 190 horsepower, a top speed of about 125 mph and a 0-60 time of roughly 8 seconds. In terms of the fuel economy BMW says it will do 94mpg on the European driving cycle. Surely BMW can pull this concept off.
