This isn’t the first time we’re hearing of the Find My iPhone feature actually helping the owner find his phone when it’s missing or stolen. In Atlanta, two suspects in a robbery case were caught because one of the stolen iPhones helped the police track them down.
This again proves that it’s important for you to enable the Find My iPhone on your phone. I’m one of those who don’t but I think it’s time that I use it.
Investigation on the case is still ongoing but it’s expected that more might be involved. As for the Find My iPhone, we heard new features will be added for the iOS 6 version of the app like tracking your route and location.
