The 8X isn’t the only new offering by HTC. Together with the new Windows 8 flagship phone, HTC also introduced the 8S. Looking at the HTC 8S, it’s not much different from the 8X. The specs are just lower and the phone is much cheaper.
The HTC 8S can be considered as an entry-level Windows 8 smartphone. It comes equipped with a 4-inch display with only 800 x 480 pixel resolution, 5MP camera, 35mm lens, 1GHz Qualcomm processor, and 4G LTE. In the US, we’re told Verizon and AT&T will be carrying the Windows Phone 8 starting this November.
