Earlier this week a new website called ThingsWeStart was launched which aims to bare all active Kickstarter projects in a single interactive map. Although Kickstarter allows users to view projects by city, the interactive map initiated by ThingsWeStart lets you view projects around you on a map-type view, providing a unique lens to see which ventures are in fashion – clothing, theatre, publishing, product design and so on.

ThingsWeStart also runs a blog dedicated to Kickstarter projects (like the infographic posted above). Head on over to ThingsWeStart and who knows, one of your neighbors might be working on the next great iPhone case.
