Just like the new iPad, the next-generation iPhone may lose the number. No iPhone 5 name but it will be called just the “iPhone”.
The new iPhone. It’s what is written on what seems to be the packaging of the rumored iPhone. Looks like the rumor is true and we’re only a few days from discovering what it looks like.
Tech website iPhonenieuwsblog.nl shared this photo of an employee holding the packaging design in a printing press. The new iPhone…. no more iPhone 4, 4S, or 5, or 5S. Apple is done with numbers. It may be confusing in the future but we can always call and add the year after the name iPhone, right? iPhone 2012, 2013, 2014….
So what do think of this? Legit? Yes? No?
