The Galaxy S III hit the 10 millionth mark last July but Samsung is still expecting to sell more. The South Korean electronics giant is predicting 30 million this 2012. Seems ambitious but I think Samsung can do it in its native country especially now that the Korean court has banned the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad, and the iPad 2. Even if the iPhone 4S and the recently revealed iPhone 5 would be made available, it might take long…perhaps not this year.
The new Android flaghship phone was only launched last May, sold 10 million last July, and recently, we learned it has hit more than 20 million already. That’s 20 million in every two months, right? That’s about 100 days only. It’s quite a feat but we’ll see if the 30 million mark is reached by November. What do you think?
