AMD Q3 earnings still down

Q4 has started which means we’ll be hearing Q3 financial reports in the next few days. One of the first to release their reports is AMD who is still struggling from 2nd quarter. The company still sold a lot earning $1.27 billion but that is lower compared to last year, experiencing a 25 percent decrease.

AMD president and CEO Rory Read explains:

“The PC industry is going through a period of very significant change that is impacting both the ecosystem and AMD.”

The company’s graphic division is also not doing well as it experience a 15 percent decrease from last year and 7 percent from the previous quarter. AMD is looking to restructuring and cutting down expenses as strategies.
