 Felix Baumgartner

The whole world probably knows Felix Baumgartner now. If you still don’t know who he is, Felix is one fearless skydiver who made the highest jump ever from more than 24 miles up above the earth.

He did a “space jump” and landed on a New Mexico dessert at 833.9 mph. It was one scary jump for man to accomplish but Baumgartner was successful. He isn’t an astronaut. He’s only a daredevil skydiver who tried to prove and be the first person reach earth jumping from a spacecraft.

Fearless Felix’s jump was televised live last Sunday, October 14, 2012. He is a 43-year old Austrian skydiver who apparently, also set the record for being the first skydiver to break the speed of sound without any spacecraft assistance.

Awesome! That’s the only adjective I could think of right now. And yeah, maybe..scary.
