Insiders warn of surveillance by iPhone 5

The iPhone 5 has been revealed. Along with it came the iOS 6 mobile operating system. A lot of people, the Apple fans mostly, were happy with the new products from Apple but little did we know that there were some secret enhancements. Why, Apple users are now being tracked to be targeted by advertisers.

Earning money from advertisers is something Apple kept secret from the general public. It seems like the Cupertino company has left out to announce that one change.

Apple is said to be making use of the IFA technique, a new tracking technology. The feature was previously disabled allowing users to enjoy an ad-free iOS 6 experience but then it’s back with the iOS 6.

Apple failed to mention this return. Fortunately, users can turn off this one and forget about being tracked and targeted by advertisers. Good riddance!
