Rolling out to Xbox 360 consoles tomorrow and to Windows 8 devices launching on October 26, Xbox Music is a streaming music service from Microsoft which offers access to more than 30 million songs in Microsoft’s catalog. Initially it will only be available to Windows 8, Windows 8 RT tablets, Windows Phone 8 smart phone and the Xbox console but Microsoft promises it will become available in other platforms next year. The Redmond company also hints on a scan-and-match feature, which will add the music you already own to your Xbox Music library. Prepare to spend £8.99 per month for unlimited ad-free streaming and downloads for offline playback.
