Redmond attacks Microsoft is to catch Apple and Google

Windows is “going through a difficult time”.

These were the words of Microsoft research chief Craig Mundie. However, the top manager is still positive that the Redmond giant will regain its lead and will be “best all-around athlete” beating Google and Apple.

Mundie admitted that the company made some mistakes in the past. He even liked the IT market with the Olympics saying: “Here and there was a race to win nice, but the most important and meaningful competition was the decathlon.”

Next week, Microsoft will be presenting the Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 plus the Surface tablet in  separate launch events. The people at Redmond are positive that the new operating system and the touchscreen tablet will do them good.

The company has been in the business for almost 40 year and it still is standing. The industry has been very competitive but Microsoft is still there. Mundie is positive that Microsoft will change only for the better and will be ready to beat Google and Apple.
