RIM recently partnered with 7Digital. The BlackBerry manufacturer chose the latter to be BlackBerry 10′s official music store. This means the upcoming mobile OS will already have an established digital music store instead of building one from scratch. I think it’s better since this would mean wider reach especially if it will be integrated with social networks and include recommendations.
The 7Digital store on BlackBerry10 devices is good news for RIM and BlackBerry users .The OS and BB10 devices have yet to be unveiled next year but at least we know RIM is still developing the new platform and it’s not shutting down anytime soon.
