Before Windows Phone 8, Microsoft will be officially launching the Windows 8 desktop OS. This new operating system will be made available to the public on the 26th of October, three days before the October 29 Windows Phone 8 launch.
Amazon UK has already listed the Windows 8 Pro Upgrade Edition N Version on its website. It was actually listed by Microsoft Software but with a memo for anyone who wishes to be ‘notified when the item becomes available’.
This Upgrade Version is specifically for the Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users. The Windows 8 Pro Pack is also now listed but still no details when shipping will start and how much it costs.
Expected price range though for the upgrade edition for Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 to Windows 8 Pro is between $40 to $70.
