
Finally after years of waitiing, Android is fixing a major bug. I don’t know what took Google so long but a WiFi network-hostname bug has just been fixed via a patch. The bug was first discovered last April 2010 but I guess Google Android engineers got too busy building the Android kingdom that it forgot about this error.
According to Google, the next major release after Jelly Bean (Android 4.2) would have the issue fixed. Some Android fans would be happy with this but not everyone.
