Sharp looking for investors

November 29, 2012

is going down. We’re not happy with it and we’re hoping someone saves the company. The Japanese multinational corporation is said to be looking for investors to keep things afloat for the coming years. WSJ reports that Sharp Corporation is courting bigger companies in the US to help them. Rumor has it Dell, Qualcomm, and Intel are being targeted. In exchange, Sharp displays are said to be easily accessible by the companies mentioned.

Back in August, Sharp was laying off 2,000 employees in Japan. This was after the news that 5,000 would be laid off. Looks like Sharp is still hopeful that things will turn around. I believe so too and I hope it will rain money or some big tech company salvage Sharp. Anyone?
