Blockbuster to sell smartphones on stores

Video rental chain Blockbuster is set to sell mobile phones in their retail stores. This may come as a surprise but I don’t see anything wrong with that. The market for phones is getting bigger but the only problem for sellers is how they’d be able to compete with each other. Blockbuster for one may have a hard time to compete with other smartphone retail stores but I believe nothing is impossible.

Dish Network who purchased Blockbuster is planning to stock retail stores with smartphones. Rumor has it that it could be the first step to launching its very own mobile service like Verizon and AT&T. Let’s wait and see.
